June 3rd, 2025: A Fond Farewell to Dr. Schmidt
Dear Valued Friends of Maple Small Animal Clinic,
We are writing to share some heartfelt news with you. After 37 years of practicing veterinary medicine and 13 wonderful years of dedicated service at Maple Small Animal Clinic, Dr. Schmidt will be retiring from veterinary practice. Her last day seeing patients will be July 5, 2025.
Throughout her time here, Dr. Schmidt has been a trusted caregiver, a patient advocate, and loyal friend to so many dogs, cats, and their families. Her compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication have made a lasting difference in the lives of our clients and their beloved animals. While we will deeply miss her presence at the clinic, we are excited for her as she begins this well-earned next chapter.
We know many of you have built meaningful relationships with Dr. Schmidt over the years. If you’d like to send her a message or share a memory, feel free to email us here at the clinic and we will be sure she receives your message.
Please know that your pets’ care remains in excellent hands. Drs. Lemann, Hill, Brasher, and Walkenhorst will continue to provide the high-quality, compassionate veterinary care you’ve come to expect from us.
Thank you for your continued trust in Maple Small Animal Clinic. We look forward to seeing you and your pets soon.
I’ll close with a big thank you to Dr. Sharon Schmidt for 13 wonderful years of devotion, kindness, and excellent care.
