About the Role: You will be talking to clients and taking patient histories, weighing patients, and assisting your veterinarian with patient restraint, venipuncture, radiology, laboratory testing, surgical monitoring and client education. The position available is full time – Mon, Weds-Friday (7:30-5:00p) and Saturdays (7:30-noon), with one weekend shift every eight weeks.
About You: We are looking for a team player who has a positive attitude, pays attention to details, and has excellent communication skills. Candidate must have at least one year of verifiable veterinary technician experience in a similar role. We are looking for someone with a solid foundation of basic skills and a great attitude, and are willing to train the right candidate for this position and to also teach additional skills such as assisting in dentistry and surgery. Candidates who want to expand their skill set, or recent vet tech graduates are encouraged to apply!
