Dr. Emily Lemann is a New Orleans native and graduate of Isidore Newman School. Dr. Lemann always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She grew up in a veterinary clinic, following in the footsteps of her dad, Dr. Gene Zeller, at Freret Veterinary Hospital. She attended LSU as an undergraduate, and she graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 where she received awards of excellence in Dermatology, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Lemann enjoys spending time with her family and friends, LSU football, dining out in New Orleans, Mardi Gras, traveling, creative writing and pottery. Dr. Lemann and her husband, Jason, have two daughters, Anna Kate and Olivia. The Lemanns reside in Metairie with their two cats, Mike and Amelia.
